The Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU) has received the Special Achievement in GIS (SAG) Award at the annual Esri Conference held in California, US.
RCU received the award for being up to international standards in the field and for achieving excellence in the use of mapping and analytics techniques.
The award highlights the efforts of the RCU and its partners in using GIS, analyzing various data, and addressing challenges in order to achieve the RCU objectives of promoting and developing services and achieving comprehensive sustainable development in AlUla governorate.
The annual Esri User Conference is the world’s largest GIS event where geospatial professionals from around the world come together to find out about the latest advances in GIS technology.
