Saudi Arabia: 11 citizens, 1,674 others arrive in Jeddah after evacuation from Sudan

Eleven Saudi citizens and 1,674 others from 65 countries arrived in Jeddah on Wednesday after being evacuated from Sudan by a Saudi ship.

Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that this comes as a continuation of the efforts made by the Kingdom, under the directives of its leadership, to evacuate its citizens and nationals of brotherly countries from Sudan to the Kingdom.

The kingdom is keen to provide all the necessary essentials for the evacuated foreigners to facilitate their departure to their countries, said SPA, adding the total of those evacuated from Sudan since the start of the evacuations amounted to about 2,148 people, including 114 Saudi citizens.
