The Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency announced the seizure of 100,000 tons of oil derivatives inside an asphalt plant in Anbar Governorate.
The Agency stated in a statement that its detachments seized, based on accurate intelligence information, an asphalt plant used for trading and smuggling oil and its derivatives illegally and without official approvals in Al-Qaim district, west of Anbar Governorate.
It explained that “7 tanks of iron of different sizes were found within the site, containing approximately (100,000 tons) of oil products.”
It added: “The seized materials were dealt with duly and handed over to the concerned authorities.”/ End
