ABU DHABI, Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State, has received Sanctus Niragira, Minister of Environment, Agriculture, and Livestock of the Republic of Burundi, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC) in Abu Dhabi.
The two sides discussed ways to develop bilateral relations between the two countries in areas of common interest, particularly in the agricultural fields.
Sheikh Shakhboot underscored that the relations between the UAE and Burundi are experiencing continuous progress, noting that there are many opportunities to develop them for the benefit of both countries.
Niragira, in turn, lauded the solid and deep-rooted relations between the two countries and constructive cooperation at all levels, stressing the potential to enhance ties in various fields.
