Sultan bin Ahmed inaugurates Amal Charitable Endowment building


SHARJAH: H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Media Council, inaugurated this Thursday, in Muwailih commercial area, the ‘Al Amal Charitable Endowment’ building, in which its earnings are allocated to treat medical cases from “Alam wa Amal” radio show (Pain and Hope) by the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority (SBA).

Salem Al Ghaithi, Director of the SBA, delivered a speech in which he expressed his joy at the project’s official opening.

Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed honoured the supporting entities of the project, presenting them with shields of honour.

Later, the Deputy Ruler witnessed the signing of a bilateral agreement between the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority, represented by Mohammed Hassan Khalaf, Director General of the SBA, and the Sharjah Awqaf, represented by Talib Al Marri, Director General of the Awqaf, under which the department will take charge of the building for managing and operating purposes.

After that, Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed cut
the ribbon, marking the official opening of the building.
