Tajik President receives credentials of UAE Ambassador

DUSHANBE, President Emomali Rahmon of the Republic of Tajikistan has received the credentials of Dr. Mohammed Said Mohammed al-Ariqi as UAE Non-Resident Ambassador to the Central Asian country during a ceremony at the Palace of the Nation in the capital Dushanbe.

During the meeting, Dr. Mohammed al-Ariqi conveyed to President Rahmon the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, as well as their sincere wishes to the President of Tajikistan and the Tajik people for further development and prosperity.

In turn, the President of Tajikistan reciprocated the sentiment to the UAE leaders, wishing the UAE’s government and people further growth and development. He also highlighted the strength of UAE-Tajikistan ties, which he said were based on fraternity, friendship and cooperation.

President Rahmon wished the UAE Ambassador success in his work to enhance ties between the two countries while highlighting his country’s readiness to provide him with the required support in facilitating his duties.

The ambassador expressed pride at representing the UAE in Tajikistan and his keenness to continue developing relations across all domains between the two friendly nations.
