The Energy Police seized a garage for smuggling oil derivatives, and found tanks and storage tanks of various capacities, as well as other seizures in Baghdad.
A statement by the Energy Police Directorate stated: “The detachments of the Third Brigade, in coordination with the Energy Police Intelligence, carried out an inspection duty, during which they were able to seize a garage used to smuggle oil derivatives on the Karkh side of Baghdad.”
The statement added: “4 large iron tanks and tanks filled with a product of unknown quantity and quality were seized along with 8 “Robin” suction and discharge pumps, and other seizures, which were seized in preparation for completing the necessary legal procedures and presenting them to the competent judiciary in accordance with the Anti-Smuggling Law of Oil and its derivatives No. 41 of 2008. / End
