The Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, chaired today, Tuesday, the eighth meeting of the Diwani Order Committee (22188) concerned with coordinating security and intelligence efforts in combating drugs and psychotropic substances, in the presence of all its members.
The meeting discussed, according to a statement by the Minister’s office, what was achieved from the issues raised in the previous meeting, and the agenda for this meeting was also discussed and the latest activities and operations in the fight against drugs were heard.
The Minister stressed the need to work according to the drawn plans and to continue security operations to arrest drug dealers and promoters and bring them to justice so that they receive their just punishment./ End
