ABU DHABI, Sultan Mohammed Al Ali, UAE Ambassador to Romania, met with Sorin Grindeanu, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, and Sebastian Burduja, Minister of Research, Innovation and Digitalisation, to follow up on priority projects between the UAE and Romania.
The two sides also discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations following the second UAE-Romania Joint Committee meeting, which was held in Abu Dhabi on 22nd June, 2022.
The two sides also underscored their interest in developing relations by identifying economic opportunities and joint projects in the fields of transport, infrastructure, advanced technology, and artificial intelligence. Grindeanu and Burduja highlighted Romania’s readiness to provide all forms of support to develop UAE-Romania ties.
For his part, Sultan Al Ali emphasised the UAE’s aim to expand bilateral cooperation in various fields.
