UAE Ambassador meets President of Guyana

ABU DHABI, Saleh Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Non-Resident Ambassador of the UAE to the Cooperative Republic of Guyana, met with Dr. Irfaan Ali, President of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana, in the presence of Bharrat Jagdeo, Vice President of Guyana, in the capital, Georgetown.

Al Suwaidi conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, to President Irfaan Ali and their wishes for his country and people to experience further progress and prosperity.

For his part, President Irfaan Ali reciprocated the greetings to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and expressed his wishes for the UAE Government and people to experience further development and growth.

Al Suwaidi praised the successful participation of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana in Expo 2020 Dubai, which contributed to strengthening the relations between the two countries to broader levels, especially in the economic and sustainability fields.

During the meeting, they discussed ways to develop bilateral relations between the two countries in various fields, as well as a number of files of common interest.
