BUCHAREST, Sultan Mohammed Al Ali, UAE Ambassador to Romania, met with Sebastian Burduja, Minister of Research, Innovation and Digitalisation and Interim Romanian Minister of Education, in the presence of Majid Sultan Al Mesmar, Director-General of the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority in the UAE, and members of the participating Emirati delegation at the Plenipotentiary Conference of the International Telecommunication Union hosted in the Romanian capital Bucharest from 26th September to 14th October, 2022.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries, especially in the field of advanced technology and artificial intelligence, in addition to a number of issues of common interest.
