UAE President confers First Class Medal of Independence on Ambassador of Georgia


President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan awarded the First Class Medal of Independence to Paata Kalandadze on the occasion of the end of his tenure as Ambassador of Georgia to the UAE, in appreciation of his efforts to develop and advance relations between the two countries across different fields.

Ahmed bin Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of State, presented the medal to Ambassador Kalandadze at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abu Dhabi, and stressed the UAE’s keenness to strengthen relations with Georgia across various sectors, commending the Ambassador’s role in enhancing bilateral ties between the two countries and expressing his wishes for success in his future career.

For his part, Ambassador Kalandadze conveyed his sincerest gratitude to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, commending the UAE’s accomplishments that reflect the leadership’s keenness and ambitions to elevate the country’s position and reputation within the international community.
He also expressed his appreciation to all government entities in the UAE for contributing to the success of his mission which aimed to strengthen relations between the two countries
