ABU DHABI, President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has welcomed the South Korea’s National Assembly (Parliament) Speaker, Kim Jin-pyo, at the Qasr Al Shati’ Palace here.
H.H. Sheikh Mohamed congratulated Kim Jin-pyo on his election as Speaker for the Korean National Assembly, wishing him success in his duties and in serving his people and nation.
The top parliamentarian thanked Sheikh Mohamed and conveyed to him the greetings of the President of South Korea, Yoon Suk-yeol, and his wishes of further success and prosperity for the UAE and its people. Sheikh Mohamed reciprocated the greetings.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed consolidating the deep friendship bonds between the two countries and explored avenues for cooperation, especially in the parliamentary fields, within the framework of the strategic partnership that brings together the UAE and South Korea, and their keenness to further advance these relations to higher levels.
The two sides also discussed the latest regional and international developments and exchanged views over issues of interest.
