AL AIN, The United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) students celebrated the World Teacher’s Day, held annually on 5th October.
The College of Humanities and Social Sciences conducted a series of events in the building of the College of Information Technology, with the participation of students from various colleges and academic disciplines, and several faculty members at the university.
The UAEU administration marks World Teacher’s Day annually in appreciation of the efforts of the faculty members at the university, and the role of the teacher in general. They always play a significant role in delivering a noble human message to prepare and educate children and keep pace with the rapid development.
World Teachers’ Day is a global event established by the United Nations to honour and appreciate the teachers for their influential efforts in inspiring the minds of the future generation, and their great role in development of learners, which is reflected positively on the learners, their families and communities, and the whole world.
