ABU DHABI, The Higher Committee of the Global Media Congress has held a virtual meeting with heads of national local media institutions operating in the country.
During the meeting, the audience reviewed the latest developments related to the Global Media Congress 2022.
The international event, held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, will be organised Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) in partnership with the Emirates News Agency (WAM) from 15th to 17th November at ADNEC.
They discussed ways to take advantage of the global gathering to shed light on the UAE’s stature as a global platform for media organisations due to its facilitations and capabilities, and its experience in developing advanced local and global media by creating a resilient and competitive environment for media work and providing a digital infrastructure that enabled media institutions to deliver their media message.
The meeting was attended by Mohammed Jalal Al Rayssi, WAM Director-General and Chairman of the GMC’s Higher Organising Committee; Khalifa Al Qubaisi, Chief Commercial Officer, ADNEC; and a number of media professionals.
