Flag Day is a milestone in UAE’s history: UAQ Ruler

UMM AL QAIWAIN, H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Qaiwain, said that the Flag Day represents a milestone in the history of the UAE and “an inspiring platform for us to recall the values of the past and the principles inherited from the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and the founding fathers”.

Sheikh Saudi noted that Flag Day, commemorated on 3rd November every year, demonstrates the values of unity, loyalty to the homeland and wise leadership in the prosperous present.

“On this occasion, we recall the efforts of the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who dedicated his life to serving his people and country with all dedication and sincerity to advance the comprehensive development process that has strengthened our country’s status worldwide,” he added.

His Highness stated that the UAE flag will always remain a symbol of loyalty and pride for the country’s achievements.
