PM congratulates teachers on International Teacher’s Day

Caretaker Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor extended his congratulations and blessings to male and female teachers in all schools in the Republic of Yemen on the occasion of International Teachers’ Day.

Dr. Bin Habtoor, during his meeting today with the Minister of Education in the caretaker government, Yahya Al-Houthi, and the Undersecretary, Ibrahim Sharaf, praised the tremendous efforts of the educational family during the years of aggression and siege, and their national and moral keenness to continue performing the great educational mission despite their great suffering as a result of the cessation of their salaries.

He pointed out that the National Salvation Government sought with all responsibility to alleviate their suffering by establishing the Teacher Support Fund.

Education Minister in the caretaker government confirmed that the Ministry is continuing to implement the provisions of its plan for the current year 1445 AH, with continuous monitoring and evaluation of educational process progress in the secretariat and the provinces, pointing to the keenness to secure the basic components for the regularity of the educational process according to the available capabilities.
