QSE Index Drops 0.03% at Start of Trading

The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) dropped 3.48 points, or 0.03%, at the beginning of Tuesday's trading, to reach the level of 10,400.14 points, compared to yesterday's closing.

The performance of QSE general index was weighed down by a decline in four sectors: Consumer Goods and Services by 0.27%; Banks and Financial Services by 0.23%; Telecoms by 0.16%; and Real Estate by 0.06%. On the other hand, the general index recorded a rise in Transportation by 0.10%; Industrials by 0.06%; and Insurance by 0.03%.

At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 2,863 transactions worth QR 105,435,230.242, distributed to 35,568,603 shares.
