Starting annual consultative meeting of General Corporation for Roads and Bridges


The General Corporation for Roads and Bridges began the work of the annual consultative meeting for the corporation’s branches and maintenance centers in the provinces, under the slogan ‘Developing Resources and Modernizing Assets.’

The two-day consultative meeting organized by the Foundation with the participation of 80 managers of branches, projects and maintenance centres, aims to review the level of performance during the past year, confront the difficulties and challenges facing the work, and come up with objective and practical solutions to these problems.

Head of the Board of Directors of the Corporation, Eng. Abdul Rahman Al-Hadrami pointed out that the organization’s leadership is keen to hold annual consultative meetings to discuss the level of performance and productivity during a full year of work and achievement at the level of the center, branches and maintenance centers.

The head of the Foundation pointed out the importance of focusing on developing resources, modernizing assets, and reachi
ng the stage of self-sufficiency in them, in a way that contributes to covering work on projects, bridges, construction, maintenance, and others.

Al-Hadrami blessed the qualitative operations carried out by the Yemeni armed forces to support the brotherly Palestinian people , their heroic resistance within the framework of Yemen’s firm and principled position in supporting the Palestinians and their just cause.

During the meeting, which was attended by the Vice President of the Corporation, Eng. Amir al-Din al-Houthi, the head of the preparatory committee for the meeting, the Director of the Office of the President of the Corporation, Motee al-Faqih, reviewed the work program for the consultative meeting , the topics and working papers it included… indicating that the primary goal of the meeting is to discuss mechanisms for developing performance, raising productivity, and addressing any issues. Problems or shortcomings in work to be addressed and avoided during the coming period.

Dr. Fahd Al-Samah also
presented a working paper on ‘on-the-job training’ that focused on aspects related to developing professional capabilities and exchanging experiences among the organization’s cadres.

While the second session witnessed a review of the performance reports of the general departments of the central workshop, mechanics, warehouses, and movement, as well as the branches, maintenance centers, bridge , construction projects, the financial and administrative affairs departments.
