President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid confirmed today, Wednesday, that the late President Jalal Talabani succeeded in overcoming the country's crises.

Rashid said, at the first national forum on the death of President Jalal Talabani in Najaf Al-Ashraf, that “Najaf Al-Ashraf Governorate is present in the behavior of the late President Jalal Talabani,” indicating that it is “a bridge of communication among brothers and sons of one nation.”

He added, "The late President stressed on more than one occasion the wisdom of the religious authority," stressing that he "succeeded in the country overcoming many crises."

The President of the Republic renewed his “adherence to the late Talabani’s path of reunification.”
