UAE Ambassador to Kazakhstan receives Secretary-General of Muslim Council of Elders

NUR SULTAN, Dr. Mohamed Al Ariqi, UAE Ambassador to the Republic of Kazakhstan, received Counselor Mohammed Abdulsalam, Secretary-General of the Muslim Council of Elders, at the UAE Embassy in the capital, Nur Sultan, on the sidelines of his participation in the 7th Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions held on the 13th and 14th of September.

The UAE Ambassador welcomed the Secretary-General of the Muslim Council of Elders and his accompanying delegation, and the two sides discussed a number of issues of common interest.

At the end of the meeting, Al Ariqi presented Counselor Abdulsalam a copy of the Human Fraternity Document signed by His Eminence the Grand Imam of Al Azhar and Chairman of the Muslim Council of Elders, Dr. Ahmed el-Tayyeb, and His Holiness Pope Francis of the Catholic Church, in Abu Dhabi in 2019.
