AJMAN, On UAE Flag Day, H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, stressed that the country’s flag is the symbol of its unity, strength and future.
On the occasion, he said, “On this day, we extend our appreciation, gratitude and best wishes to the UAE’s leadership, headed by President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates, as well as the country’s citizens and residents.”
“On 3rd November each year, the UAE celebrates Flag Day and commemorates the efforts of the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to honour the nation’s flag. On this glorious event, we commemorate the nation’s political, economic, developmental, scientific, educational, social, cultural and sporting achievements, whose foundations were established by the UAE’s leaders and founding fathers,” he added.
The country, under the nation’s flag, has become a symbol of peace, security, determination, will and giving, he further added, stressing, “We raise the UAE’s flag with pride and compassion, under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.”
Sheikh Humaid said, “On flag day, we will not forget the heroic achievements of our martyrs.”
